How do I purchase domain mailboxes?

Domain mailboxes can be purchased at time of registration when ordering your domain name. Or, you can purchase domain mailboxes from within the Domain Control Panel under Manage Mailboxes.

Who typically uses domain mailboxes?

The domain mailbox service is for customers who register domain names and require a professional email service but do not require a web hosting service. The mailboxes only work on non-hosted domain names. If you use a UK-Cheapest web hosting account, you should use the mailboxes provided with that account instead.

What do I get email with my mailbox?

You get an email address which you can use to send and receive email through our online webmail service. You also get a POP username that can be used with any POP/IMAP supporting application.

How do I process my email using my domain mailbox?

The usual way of processing your email is to logon to the online webmail service. From here you can send and receive emails with support for attachments, email forwarding and storage folders.

How many email address do I get with my mailbox?

Each mailbox is a single email address. You can use email forwarding with your parked domain to forward other email addresses to your mailbox.

What exactly is a mailbox?

A mailbox is a location for the server to store incoming emails to your desired email address. You can access your mailbox using the online webmail service or via any other POP/IMAP application.

Do I get POP and IMAP support?

You can use thirdy party applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Mail, Mac Mail to read your email. Whilst we cannot support these applications, we do provide the information you need to connect your mailbox.

Do I get spam and anti virus protection?

Anti spam and anti virus protection is integerated with your Mailbox.

Can I send email from my Mailbox?

You can send emails from your mailbox using our online webmail service. There is no limit to the number of emails you can send out using webmail. If you use a third party application you need to use your ISP SMTP.

How long does it take my mailbox to start working?

Your mailbox is usually functional within a few minutes of set up.

How much space do I get with my mailbox?

Each mailbox are provided with 100mb of mailbox space. If you exceed this amount you will simply receive an automated warning asking you to remove any unwanted mails.
