Transferring Your Domains from Fasthosts
Transfer your domain names from Fasthosts to UK-Cheapest.co.uk and get all the advantages of our Domain Name Control panel including Free nameserver changes, email forwarding, web forwarding and Homepage builder!
Transferring to UK-Cheapest is FREE!
There is no transfer fee for .UK domain names however there is a 1 year renewal fee for all other domains (.com, .net, .org etc) of £8.97. This transfer cost extends your domain name registration by 1 year and so is not an administrative fee!
For all .UK domains eg. .CO.UK, .ME.UK, .ORG.UK
Login to your UKREG Control Panel at: http://www.ukreg.com
1) To transfer a Fasthosts domain away from UKreg, you’ll first need to check if it was initially registered at UKreg or if it was transferred into UKreg from elsewhere.
2) Click on the "Members Login" link at the top of the page.
3) Go to UKreg and select "Configure Domains".
4) Select the domain you’d like to move and choose "Change IPS Tag".
5) The IPS tag for UK-Cheapest.co.uk is "MICROLITE" enter it here.
6) If the domain was transferred into UKreg you must also send a fax, on headed notepaper, to UKreg providing the following information:
- The new IPS tag name (which is MICROLITE)
- The username and password for your UKreg account
- The domain name

For non .UK domains eg. COM, NET, ORG
Login to your UKREG Control Panel at: http://www.ukreg.com
1) Click on the “Members Login" link at the top of the page.
2) Select "Configure Domains" in the middle of the page.
3) Log into your UKreg account.
4) Select the domain you wish to unlock.
5) Click "Unlock For Transfer"
6) Click "Confirm”.
7) Contact UKreg support and ask them to send you your Auth Code.
