Transferring Your Domains from NAMESCO
Transfer your domain names from NAMESCO to UK-Cheapest.co.uk and get all the advantages of our Domain Name Control panel including Free nameserver changes, email forwarding, web forwarding and Homepage builder!
Transferring to UK-Cheapest is FREE!
There is no transfer fee for .UK domain names however there is a 1 year renewal fee for all other domains (.com, .net, .org etc) of £8.97. This transfer cost extends your domain name registration by 1 year and so is not an administrative fee!
For all .UK domains eg. .CO.UK, .ME.UK, .ORG.UK
1) Log into the NamesCo control panel at http://admin.names.co.uk .
2) After logging in, click "Domain Names".
3) Select the domain name that you'd like to transfer.
4) Click "DNS & Transfer Option".
5) Click "Transfer Domain".
6) Enter the IPS tag "MICROLITE".
7) Initialise the transfer.
For non .UK domains eg. COM, NET, ORG
Login to your UKREG Control Panel at: http://www.ukreg.com
1) Log into the NamesCo control panel (http://admin.names.co.uk/).
2) After logging in, click on "Domain Names".
3) Select the domain name that you want to transfer.
4) Click on "DNS & Transfer Option".
5) Click on "Transfer Domain".
6) Follow the onscreen instructions to transfer your domain name from NamesCo. Choose to unlock the domain name.
7) Contact NamesCo support and ask them for your domain’s Auth Code.
8) Initialise the transfer.
9) OpenSRS/TuCows (our domain registrar) will then email you with further instructions on using your Auth Code to transfer your domain to UKC, so please ensure you check your mail regularly
