Configuring Microsoft Outlook
- Setting up your POP and SMTP email
using Microsoft Outlook
All versions of Microsoft Outlook vary, if you have
difficulty in following the instructions below due
to your version being different then you should use
the Help function built-in to Microsoft Outlook.

Windows XP
- Open Microsoft Outlook
- Choose Tools from the menu at the top of the screen,
then select Email Accounts.
- Select to Add a new Email Account.
- Select POP3 as type of account.

- Next enter your display name and email address
applicable for this account, then your username
and password for this POP3 account, followed by
your incoming (POP3) and outgoing (SMTP) servers.

- Click the 'More Settings' button and check the
following:


- Microsoft Outlook is now set-up to send and receive
email for your domain name.
Please Note: Your SMTP server address
is provided by your ISP (whomever you connect to the
Internet through), you may find for security reasons
(due to spam) that they will not let you access email
through this server. If this is the case then you
should contact them to alert them that you wish to
use your domain name through your ISP account with
them, in order for them to remove this filter from
your account.
