Confirm the recipient before payment.<\/p><\/div><\/li><li><span>4<\/span><div><strong>Add the invoice reference<\/strong><p>Use the invoice number and keep the bank confirmation until the invoice is marked paid.<\/p><\/div><\/li><\/ol><aside class=\"ukc-organic-warning\"><strong>Fraud check:<\/strong> UKC will not unexpectedly change bank details by email. If an email conflicts with the invoice in the Client Area, stop and ask support through the official site.<\/aside>\n<h2 id=\"reference\">Why does the payment reference matter?<\/h2><div class=\"ukc-organic-grid two\"><article class=\"ukc-organic-card\"><h3>One invoice<\/h3><p>Use its invoice number so the payment can be matched to the correct account and service.<\/p><\/article><article class=\"ukc-organic-card\"><h3>Standing order<\/h3><p>Ask Billing which stable account reference to use before creating a regular instruction.<\/p><\/article><article class=\"ukc-organic-card\"><h3>Several invoices<\/h3><p>Contact Billing before paying a combined amount if it is unclear how it will be allocated.<\/p><\/article><article class=\"ukc-organic-card\"><h3>Missing reference<\/h3><p>Send Billing the payment date, amount, payer name and intended invoice. Do not expose unrelated bank data.<\/p><\/article><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"international\">What about an international transfer?<\/h2><p>Use the current international instructions shown on the invoice. Send the requested currency and choose bank-charge options carefully so UKC receives the full amount. Intermediary banks can deduct fees or add processing time.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"urgent\">Should you use BACS for an urgent renewal?<\/h2><p>Bank transfers are not always confirmed instantly. If a service is close to suspension or expiry, choose an immediate method shown on the invoice where possible. If already sent, open a Billing ticket with the invoice number and payment details.<\/p>\n<h2>Bank transfer questions<\/h2><div class=\"ukc-organic-faq\"><details open><summary>Why are bank details not printed here?<\/summary><p>The current invoice is the safer source of truth and avoids customers using copied details after a change.<\/p><\/details><details><summary>When will my invoice show as paid?<\/summary><p>After funds reach UKC and are matched. Bank and processing times vary.<\/p><\/details><details><summary>Can I use my account email as the reference?<\/summary><p>Use the invoice number normally. Ask Billing for the correct reference before creating a standing order.<\/p><\/details><details><summary>What evidence should I send?<\/summary><p>Provide invoice number, amount, payment date and payer name.
