Multi-domain web hosting
Multi-domain hosting lets one hosting plan run several separate websites
Each domain can have its own website, files, email addresses, SSL certificate and databases, while all sites share the storage and other limits of one hosting account. It is useful when one person or business manages several modest websites from one Plesk control panel.
How does multi-domain hosting work?
One Plesk login
Add and manage permitted websites from Websites & Domains. Each domain has its own document root and settings.
Separate website content
A domain can use Sitejet, WordPress or uploaded files without displaying the content of another domain.
Shared account resources
All domains draw from the same plan allowance. A busy or badly configured site can affect the capacity available to the others.
Separate service settings
Configure SSL, PHP, databases, mailboxes and DNS per domain where the plan and service permit it.
How many websites can each UKC hosting plan run?
| Plan | Website capacity | Typical fit |
|---|---|---|
| Micro Web+SSL | 1 website | One small website, landing page or test project |
| Basic Web+SSL | Up to 3 websites | A main website plus a few small projects |
| Professional Web+SSL | Up to 15 websites | Several business or client-managed sites |
| Unlimited Web+SSL | Unlimited websites, subject to account limits and fair use | A larger collection of websites managed in one account |
Plan features and prices can change. Use the live hosting comparison and checkout as the current source of truth.
When is multi-domain hosting a good choice?
Good fit
You own the sites, want one control panel and can sensibly share one plan’s storage and resources.
Consider separate accounts
Different customers need isolated access, billing or risk boundaries, or one site is business-critical and resource-heavy.
Security still matters
Keep every application, theme and plugin updated. One compromised login or application can create risk for the account.
Back up each site
Use Plesk Backup Manager and keep suitable copies. UKC also takes daily server-side backups for recovery requests.
How do you add another domain in Plesk?
- 1Check your plan
Confirm that another website slot and enough storage are available.
- 2Open Websites & Domains
Sign in to Plesk on your assigned UKC server and choose Add Domain.
- 3Connect the domain
Use the nameservers or DNS records shown for your hosting service.
- 4Build and secure it
Publish with Sitejet, WordPress or files, then enable a valid SSL certificate and test email if used.
Multi-domain hosting questions
Does every domain get a separate control panel?
No. The domains are normally managed within the same Plesk subscription and login.
Can each domain have its own email?
Yes, subject to the plan’s mailbox allowance. Create addresses beneath the correct domain in Plesk.
Is Sitejet included for every hosted domain?
Sitejet is included with UKC shared hosting. Availability for a particular site is shown in its Plesk tools.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. If you need more website slots, storage or mailboxes, review the current plans or ask support about an upgrade.
Host more than one website
Choose a plan with the website capacity you need
Allow room for files, databases, email and future growth, not just the number of domain names.
