Your domain is registered. Here is what you can do next
Your domain name is now yours. The simplest next step is to open My Domains and choose what you want it to do. You can build a free single-page website, send visitors elsewhere, forward email or connect hosting.
Choose what your domain should do
Build a Domain Website
Describe your business and let the included AI-assisted builder create a simple one-page website. You can change it as often as you wish and there is no additional builder charge. An optional HTML editor is available for advanced users.
Connect another platform
If your website or email is provided elsewhere, you can connect the domain to that service. This is done using DNS records or nameservers. Follow the provider’s instructions or ask UKC support before changing a working setup.
Forward the domain
Send anyone who types this domain to another website you already use. Domain Parking SSL is an optional add-on that provides a secure connection while the visitor is redirected.
Use domain email
Email Forwarding sends incoming messages to an inbox you already use and is included. If you want to send and receive directly as you@yourdomain.co.uk, add a paid Custom Domain Email mailbox.
How to find the domain tools
Open the Client Area
Sign in and choose Domains, then My Domains.
Select the domain
Open Manage Domain to see the domain control centre.
Choose the tool
Open Domain Website Builder, DNS Manager, Web Forwarding, Email Forwarding or Nameservers.
Connecting the domain to a service
Nameservers tell the internet where your website and email are located. Domains using UKC parking normally use ns.ukc.uk and ns2.ukc.uk. If an older domain shows ns.microlite1.com and ns2.microlite1.com, you do not need to change them.
UKC shared-hosting customers should use the nameservers printed in their hosting welcome email. If you are unsure, ask support before making a change because the wrong nameservers can interrupt a working website or email service.
Registration checks and validation
Check the status
A completed order normally appears in My Domains shortly after registration. DNS and registry updates can take time to become visible everywhere.
Complete validation
Nominet or ICANN may email you to confirm the domain owner details. Follow a genuine request promptly because the domain can be suspended when this required check is not completed.
