Refunds and Cancellations

Site Builder / Web Hosting Refund Policy

100-blueWe care deeply about the satisfaction received by every customer. With this in mind, we offer a no quibble 30 day refund policy for all web hosting and site builder related services.

There are a number of reasons why you may require a refund and cancellation for your hosting or webspace account. Sometimes things just don’t work out.

Maybe you don’t require hosting – or didn’t understand what you were buying? Maybe you find it all too complicated and have decided to hire a web designer to do it all for you instead?

Or just maybe you don’t like the control panel or maybe just something else, anything else. But… Don’t worry – our unconditional 30 day refund policy is very easy to activate!

What we cannot refund.

Let’s get to the nitty gritty. We cannot refund for domain name registrations. We simply cannot cancel them once they are registered so there is no backing out of domain names, now that’s that hard stuff out of the way!

We can pretty much refund for anything else as long as you are within your 30 days, after that it is up to the discretion of the management – and they are pretty good as long as you have a valid reason, we don’t want unhappy customers, we don’t believe in making you stay with us if you don’t want to!

To action your refund request…

This is the simple part. Go to the eSupport HelpDesk, raise a support ticket asking for a refund on your particular product, provide your order number and for speed of execution if there is a domain name involved, mention that you understand that it cannot be refunded.

The HelpDesk will then action your refund with NO FURTHER QUESTIONS!

How to pay by BACS or Online Banking Transfer

Sending payments from within the UK

Ref: your invoice number (or your account email address if you are making regular payments)
Account Name: UKC LABS LTD
Sort Code: 04-06-05
Account Number: 22154089

If you want to make regular payments or setup a Standing Order, you will find that you need to set the reference to something that does not change monthly and so entering the invoice number will not be possible. In these cases simply use the email address of the account that the invoice was sent to and this will be enough for us to match up the payments.

BACS payments made between Monday and Friday will be processed within 3 working days.

How to: Stop Domain Renewal Invoices being created

DomainNameRegistrationPrevent Automated Renewal Invoices for Domains No Longer Required

Domain names by their very nature are usually active for very long periods of time, at least one year and up to 10 years, depending on your domain registration requirements at the time.

From time to time, you may find that you no longer wish to use a domain name, even though it has not expired. In this instance, you want to not be bothered by renewal invoices for this domain name.

To prevent renewal invoices being automatically created for unwanted domain names you need to disable the domain “Renew Notify Status”.

To do this, simply follow these steps:

  1. Login to your Client Area and go to Domains > My Domains
  2. Click Manage on the desired domain name
  3. Click Renew Notify tab and review the status
  4. Click Disable Renew Notify button
  5. If desired, you can re-enable at any time

Once Renew Notify is disabled, you will no longer receive automatically generated invoices for this domain name. You will receive renewal notifications, this is in accordance with ICANN/Nominet rules, but you can simply ignore them as you will not be billed.
